The Wilket Creek & North York Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation is one of the more diversified rehabilitation contracts currently being performed for the City of Toronto. Scope of works includes 1 kilometer of CIPP installations in diameters ranging from 675mm to 750mm, Installation of GRP Panels to create a new pipe within a pipe for an existing 3000mm diameter CSP storm line, performance of a direct bury section of the same line using the GRP, and finally one section of the same line that is to receive a 30mm thick Geopolymer coating. Works further include all access shafts ranging from 4 to 14 meters in depth, placement of temporary access roads, performance of all required dewatering and bypass pumping. Perhaps one of the most interesting items associated with these works is that all disciplines of work will be completed under the single Capital Infrastructure umbrella. All operations will be performed and coordinated in house which maximizes efficiencies in all disciplines. This approach is unique to our industry and continues to provide our clients with the most cost effective approaches to difficult and more complex projects. In addition to the above, 25 maintenance holes will be partially reconstructed and fully rehabilitated utilizing Warren Environmentals spray applied epoxy.
